Independent External Review Application
IMPORTANT NOTICE!

The Ohio Department of Insurance (ODI) has changed how External Review cases are submitted and managed from an insurance company perspective:

New cases:
Detailed information about the External Review system and how to create an account for it can be found here: http://insurance.ohio.gov/Company/Pages/CompanyTab2lh.aspx.

All new cases are to be submitted through the new External Review application accessed through the ODI Gateway (https://gateway.insurance.ohio.gov).

If you need a Gateway account, please see the instructions on this page http://insurance.ohio.gov/Company/Pages/CompanyTab2lh.aspx on how to create one. Once created, you will be able to submit an External Review case, but you will only see case(s) that you have submitted until ODI has reviewed your access.


Existing cases:
Cases originally entered in the old External Review system will need to be reported on in the old system. Once all older cases have been closed, the reporting links will be removed.
