Independent External Review Application

The Ohio Department of Insurance (ODI) has implemented a new External Review System as of July 1, 2018. The old system is only available for reporting outcome data on external review cases that were initiated in the old system before July 1, 2018.

Beginning July 1, 2018, all external review cases must be submitted in the new External Review System accessed through the ODI Secure Application Gateway (https:// gateway.insurance.ohio.gov).

Detailed information about the new External Review System and how to create an ODI Secure Application Gateway account for access to the system can be found here: http://insurance.ohio.gov/Company/Pages/CompanyTab2lh.aspx.
